| So I felt the need to reflect.
My high school principal, Sam Champion,
passed away this week after battling cancer, her was 52. It is strange
how a person can encourage you so much, remember you and mean so much.
He was a wonderful, godly, golden individual with a heart bigger than
the state of Texas and a passion and desire to see all student succeed.
He was a friend, mentor and fellow bearer of the faith. A man committed
to the truth and kindness. He was a great role model and made everyone
feel loved, and that they were special. I thank God for that, and pray
blessings for his family in this difficult time.
Mr. Champion, the Lord blessed me by letting me get to know you and
having you as a friend. I will continue to thank God each time I
remember you.

| Christmas was wonderful. I worked mostly during the time those in
school call "Christmas Break" and got to see my family too. They drove
all the way through New Orleans and down to West Palm to celebrate Greg
and my first Christmas as a married couple. Greg's Grandmother had us
over for dinner, all seven of us, and we all celebrated Christmas
together. The Christmas pageant turned out ok too.
We even got to see Madelyn, Andy and Liz. Madelyn is a beautiful little
girl and her parents are such sweet people. On Dec. 28 we celebrated
Catelyn's birthday at this Mod 60s place in Lake Worth, where she got a
complementary shot and huge martini glass full of ice cream. It was sad
to see the family go the next morning. Friday I went return shopping
with my friend Julia and Greg and I started cleaning the house and
taking down decorations. Edge came over Sunday for lunch after church.
On new year's eve greg and I went to TGI Fridays (my favorite chain
restaurant.) Then we came home watched T.V. and drank champagne when
the ball dropped on television in New York City. Monday Greg and I
played "24 The Game" with Edge and started on Day 4, of 24. I am a
little sad to have abandoned my four day vacation and come back to the
real world where I work five days a week.
Lots of things are changing at work, in the way my department is
structured. It is exciting but still scary. Greg has not heard back from
Princeton yet. Hopefully he will by the end of the month. Sam accepted
a job at the Post and starts later this month. I am glad to have a
friend coming back to the area.

| I am sorry I have not updated in so long. Last week I had an ear
infection and was really not feeling well most of the weekend. Not much
going on. Have all but one person shopped for, and Greg and I decorated
a beautiful Christmas tree. Today Greg strung the third set of lights
around our palm tree in front (the first two time the strings went
out). Greg and I are going out for dinner and a movie tonight. I am so
excited about steak! I love the Longhorn Steakhouse. Anyhow- Happy
Holidays. Pray for us next week as we get the Chritmas Pageant thrown
together. We are getting stuff for sets tomorrow.

| Someday I will pay the money to put more photos up on this page. Things
are going well. Went to Blue Martini last night and I am working in
metro today (Saturday). My family is coming for Christmas, which rocks.
Greg sent in his application to Princeton, and we had a good
Thanksgiving. I made alpt of food. Tomorrow I am having Sam over for
Tea, and going out to get Christmas decorations for the house. Not too
many new ones just something for the bannisters and a new wreath
hanger. Anyhow, happy belated Thanksgiving.
